Skittles & Lunch at the Spur - March 2026
In March a group went to the Spur at Slindon for skittles with a buffet lunch. It was a lovely sunny day and some of the party had their lunch in the sunshine. Congratulations to the winning team Heather, Geoff, Teresa and Gill. Well done to Steph as the winner of the knock out singles. A great time was had by all.
On a beautiful sunny Spring day in April a group explored the Wey and Arun Canal with the Wey & Arun Canal Trust. The Canal Trust, a registered charity, aims to restore the 23-mile abandoned canal which runs through Surrey and Sussex.
We left Loxwood on the electric canal boat going through the locks and gently cruising for over 90 minutes. Thank to the Events team for a gentle relaxing afternoon.
